Operation Christmas Child

Drop Off Deadline: Sunday, November 20

Watch Matthew West and friends deliver some shoeboxes!

Give a gift of love by filling a shoe box with goodies for one of millions of kids in the world who have so little. The kids get not only the gift you provide, but a message of Jesus's love included in their box. For the last four years, this has been a favorite activity of Hope Chapel families as they work together to help provide Christmas for kids around the world.

You can choose gifts for a boy or girl, ages 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14. Include things like toys, school supplies, hygiene items, or candy, but do not include used items, war-related toys, chocolate or food, or anything breakable. Visit the Samaritan’s Purse website for more details, or pick up a brochure at Hope.

Please include a donation of $7 or more to help with shipping costs. Make checks payable to Samaritan's Purse and include it inside the box. If you wrap the box, wrap the lid separately. Get a label (marked boy or girl and age) from a brochure at Hope or from the website, and tape it to the top of the box.

Hope Chapel is a collection center for the Eugene/Springfield area. If you would like to volunteer to help with collections please contact Rosie Melton at 915-5487. We'll need help on the afternoon of November 20 to load up thousands of boxes into the big trucks!
