Clothes Closet & Food Pantry

To help meet the needs of our community, Hope Chapel offers a clothes closet and food pantry, open to anyone in need. Visitors will find clothes for anyone - from babies through adults, and food necessities like soup, peanut butter, beans, pastas, and much more. It is located in the Northwest corner of the building, entrance off the parking lot.

Hours of Operation:

Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6:00 pm
Sundays, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

If You Are in Need:

Food: Bags of food are distributed on a first come first serve basis as supplies last ~ no reservations. Food donations come in regularly so keep trying back if we happen to run out on a given day.
Clothes Closet: Don’t let the name fool you, it’s a large closet (garage size). Clothes are limited as posted on a per person / per family basis. But we're here to help. If you have special needs/circumstances feel free to let us know.We have donations coming in regularly, and occasionally have blankets, sleeping bags, back packs and have even had cases of NEW shoes donated.

How You Can Help:

1. Winter Update: we have plenty of clothes to go around. What we really now is coats, gloves, blankets, hats, etc.

2. More food is needed EVERY WEEK. Can you just pick up a few things each time you grocery shop? We can share practically anything - fresh, frozen, and espcially non-perishable or ready-to-eat food such as:

  • canned stew, beans, stew
  • cup-a-soup
  • peanut butter
  • granola bars, cereal
  • rice, pasta, sauces
  • canned tuna, chicken, or salmon
  • apple sauce
  • packaged dry fruit
  • canned fruits and vegetables

Drop your donations in the food barrel in the lobby, or bring to the Clothes Closet during open hours.

3. Volunteer to host during open hours. If you are interested, please contact Tara Brown to learn more.

4. Spring/summer: Plant and harvest fresh food from your garden, or in our garden on the church property. Or plant and harvest from your own garden.
