About Us

Hope Chapel is not a building, not a person, not a religious institution. It is a vibrant body of believers through which God is able to work. I guess you could say we are an outstretched hand to those in need, offered to show others the love that God has shown to us. The atmosphere around here is more like a big family or a neighborhood. And since Jesus has opened up an entirely new dimension of life for us we just want to share that with the entire of community of Lane County, Oregon, our nation, and the entire world.

Hope Chapel is a young church with its beginning in 2003. So the opportunity for growth and ministry is just now beginning to be found. With emphasis on the whole family, Hope is a place where your family can feel at home and safe in the pursuit of Jesus and His Kingdom.

We are not perfect people -- in fact all of those who attend here have a past. But Jesus has made it clear to us that He came into this world to forgive, save and heal all men and women. His work in our lives has not been to condemn or to shame, but to liberate and to restore. The ongoing process of following Him -- paying close attention to what He says to us -- is best done in company with other folks. We have lots to learn from one another and we, in turn, can share what we have discovered about the Kingdom of God with other people.
